Artist Submissions: The Charles Harris Gallery is currently accepting submissions. Mail or hand deliver proposals to: Charles Harris Library Gallery - Exhibition Proposal 124 Library Road SW Wise, Virginia 24293 directions (google maps) Include: -cover letter with exhibition idea -10 or more images of work (preferably saved on cd as jpgs or as powerpoint presentation) -checklist of slides with relevant info (title, medium, dimensions, date) -resume / bio -statement Note: We can not return your submission materials, but will keep them on file for future consideration. Gallery Space: The exhibition space is 24' x 50' with three doorways, for a total of approximately 160' running wall space and 144 sq. feet floor space. Walls are 10.5' high and covered with beige carpeting.  gallery plan (gif) Curatorial Statement: We welcome artists with innovative, compelling work from all geographic regions and all stages of their career. Solo or group proposals are accepted. We are also committed to our local and regional communities and encourage submissions from artists whose work, concepts, or biography are connected to Southwest Virginia or surrounding areas.
